April’s Flavor of the Month is Spring Fever, based on a non-alcoholic drink. If you’d like to mix up some of the real thing, here’s the recipe:
3/4 ounce lemon juice
3/4 ounce mango syrup
1 1/2 ounce apple juice
2 ounce orange juice
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake well, then strain into a Collins glass half filled with ice. Garnish with lemon or orange slice/peel and serve.
Substitute blood orange juice for the standard orange juice to make a deeper, pinker color. (And as some of my friends on Facebook noted, this would also be good with a splash of vodka.)
