Years ago I couldn’t resist making a June Bug lip balm (I think it was a Flavor of the Month). It had a very bright, neon green color, and tasted like coconut, melon, pineapple, and banana.
If you’re a fan of these tropical, summer flavors, you might like to try the real thing. Here’s how you make a June bug cocktail:
3/4 ounce banana liqueur
3/4 ounce coconut rum
3/4 ounce melon liqueur
3 ounces pineapple juice
Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake well, then strain into a collins glass filled with ice.
