When I say “parched” I don’t mean thirsty, and I’m not going to suggest thoughtful gifts for desert dwellers. I’m talking about the fact that as soon as the weather got colder and the heat came on, my hands, feet, elbows, …O.K., my SKIN, everywhere, felt parched! I hear the same thing from so many people, I think we’re all in the same boat. And some of us are not just a little parched, but Seriously Parched. Who am I talking about? I’m talking about folks who live or work in environments that are particularly dry, those who have to wash their hands frequently, and people who are outdoors in the dry, cold air. This includes:
1. Nursing home employees and residents
2. Hospital employees, patients, and their caregivers
3. Teachers, principals, school nurses and counselors, and janitors
4. Day Care and Preschool teachers
5. Construction and Maintenance workers
Are you shopping for anyone on these lists? Think moisture! Hand creams, body lotions, lip balms, body balms. Remember that in some workplaces fragrance is frowned upon, so we have unscented versions of all of our moisturizers. Need help choosing just the right product? Email or call, I’d love to help!
